I think its sad that even Trevor doesnt like Ricky, and hes his dad. Usually boys worship their fathers, but Trevor doesnt like him.
Why do you think Trevor dislikes his father?
Honestly, i think Trevor has every right to dislike his father. He wasnt much of a dad to him. If i were in Trevor's shoes, i probably wouldnt like Ricky either. The reason i think Trevor doesnt like Ricky is because Trevor saw how Ricky affected his mom (Arlene) throughout his life. Also, Ricky abandoned them. So if you knew a little boy who's father left their family, and then years later decided to come back, you wouldnt expect the boy to welcome his father with a kiss and hugs, would you? Because that's not what i would expect.
Simply because his father was never around, any kid missing a parent in there lifes have a scar although its not visable it attacks the heart with pain you never knew existed. that what I think kids go through as well as myself in a single parent families.
