When Trevor shares that his dad was in Vietnam, I feel like it gives him a personal connection to the teacher. Because he has a family member that has experienced some of the things his teacher has I feel like he understands more then some other students. Trevor seemed very nice and polite, but also curious to what Rubens story was.
